The Opening day for the 2023-24 Ski Season is Friday, December 15th!

Maryland’s only ski resort opens with skiing, snowboarding and snowtubing!

Our Snowmaking Team was well prepared for the cold snaps that presented us with solid periods for good snow production. Even though we had some mild weather and precipitation this month, the additional natural snow of 11.5″ season to date has helped to establish a solid base and create excitement within our staff, community, and patrons.

Wisp plans to open with seven trails and a terrain park including Squirrel Cage, Sunset Blvd., Happy Camper, Possum, Grouse Way, Boulder Run, and Central Park Terrain Park.

Opening weekend hours:
Friday, December 15 with skiing and snowboarding from 9:00am – 4:00pm, in addition to Snow Tubing from 4:00pm – 8:00pm.

Skiing and snowboarding will continue Saturday and Sunday from 9:00am – 4:00pm and snow tubing will continue operations on Saturday from 10am – 7pm and Sunday from 10am – 4pm

Opening weekend rates:

Opening weekend lift tickets are $89 for adults and $69 for juniors ages 6-12 Friday through Sunday when purchased online in advance with up to a 16% discount off the window rate.

Lift tickets purchased Friday through Sunday at the ticket window are $109 for adults and $89 for juniors.

The rate for Snow Tubing is $45 per person and tickets are available online.
