Spring officially arrived on March 20 but we all know it takes a little while longer before we actually see signs of spring in the mountains. If you took a tour of Garrett County today, you'd see spring in action including blooming flowers, robins building nests, budding trees and die-hard fishermen on Deep Creek Lake. And if you walked around Wisp today, you'd see the hustle and bustle of spring preparation including Fantasy Valley Golf Course Superintendent, Jayme Bradley, buzzing around the grounds in anticipation of the 2017 Golf Season.
Fantasy Valley Golf Course is tentatively set to open on Friday, April 14.
Lodestone Golf Course is tentatively set to open on Friday, April 28.
Golf Memberships are available on both courses and come with many benefits including Member Appreciation Days, Member Exchange Days, Employee / Member Tournaments and more. Call to purchase your membership today - 800.462.9477.
The Mountain Park is still going strong with weekend operations on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am - 4pm with the Mountain Coaster, Spider Monkey Adventure, Chipmunk Challenge Course, Archery and Gem Mining. We've added a new Mountain Park Daily Report to make it easy to find what's open. Look for more activities to open as the season progresses.Last Edited by The Wisperer on Tuesday, April 04, 2017
